Your Wellington ISD Principals and Athletic Director want to welcome you back to the 2022-2023 school year. Here are some interesting facts about us! We’ll continue to introduce you to our teachers and staff during the first few weeks of school. As a reminder, all WHS students including seniors with a senior free should report to the auditorium at 8:30am on the first day of school for a brief back to school meeting. The shirt will feature the varsity roster and cheerleaders on the back. We have youth sizes also! The store closes at noon on Tuesday, August 16. Tomorrow is August 1st, which means it’s time for football and summer workouts. All high school boys in athletics will have their first workout of the season from 8am to 11:30am. All high school girls in athletics will meet in the weight room at 8am. Runners will meet with Coach Brown at 7am. Girls will be done by 10am. It’s going to be a great year Skyrocket Nation! As a reminder, new students to Wellington ISD can complete new student registration on their respective campus from 9am to noon tomorrow (Monday, August 1st). Please bring your birth certificate, immunization record, and social security card. We can't wait to meet you!

Online registration is now open for all students returning to Wellington ISD. 1. Visit our district website at www.wellingtonisd.net 2. Under the "Staff Resources" tab, click on "Ascender Parent Portal." 3. Log in using your credentials from last school year. Do NOT click on new student registration. 4. Click "registration" for your child and complete the forms. 5. Tell your friends with students in Wellington ISD you completed online registration and encourage them to do the same.

Class of 2022 graduate Madison Waters walked across the stage at the Texas FFA State Convention today in Ft Worth to receive her Houston Livestock Scholarship. The scholarship is for $20,000 this year and is renewable for an additional $20,000 next year. 🚀🏆🚀

The Greenbelt Jr Golf Association for Kindergarten through 12th grades concluded today. Golfers played in tournaments the month of June on Mondays and Thursdays. Towns included Shamrock, Roaring Springs, Clarendon, Mangum, Memphis, Altus, Wellington, and Childress. Golfers had to play in 5 tournaments for final points awarded. Caleb Weinette placed 1st overall and Dakota Marshall placed 3rd overall. Congratulations to our Skyrockets! 🚀⛳️🚀
